With educational technologies advancing every day, students are gaining skills much more quickly than is possible through traditional lecture-based schooling.
Norwest Venture Partners surveyed 800+ U.S. adults between the ages of 25-45 and included a mix of those who have a four-year college degree and graduate degree.
The survey sought to find the impact of a college education on an adult's ability to thrive in the workforce.
72% feel that more than half of the college courses they completed did not adequately prepare them for their careers.
20% of respondents agree that online technology will replace traditional education in the next 10 years.
11% of respondents believe their organization provides them with the tools and skills they need to move up.
